Drake had a couple more surprise guests for those in attendance Tuesday night at the Barclays Center for the latest stop in his “Aubrey And The Three Migos” tour. Just like he did in Toronto, the 6 God decided to bring out Travis Scott to perform their new collab “Sicko Mode,” off LaFlame’s Astroworld album, and the crowd went absolutely bonkers for Travis’ surprise appearance, but that’s not all he performed. In addition to performing “Sicko Mode,” Travis also went ahead and performed his hit single “Goosebumps” as well.

However, Travis wasn’t the only surprise of the night. During the performance of his hit song “In My Feelings,” Drake decided to bring out IG star Shiggy, who’s responsible for originating the #InMyFeelings dance craze that went so viral a couple weeks back.

Drizzy also took time out his night to give little Sofia from Chicago a shoutout & love for her receiving her new heart. “God the other day blessed her with a new heart. So Sofia if you get this clip out to you, I love you and I’m happy for you that’s right.”

[U.S E-NEWS] Tay-K Posts Pic From Jail Cell After Just Being Charged With Felony For Having Phone

It was just a couple weeks ago that reports surfaced that Tay-K was hit with another felony charge after guards allegedly caught him trying to hide a cellphone. The guard allegedly caught the rapper trying to tuck his phone inside of his underwear. After it was discovered, the rapper tried to throw it in the toilet and then got into an altercation with another inmate, before eventually being charged with a third degree felony charge of possessing a prohibited item inside a correctional.

Well it appears Tay-K isn’t bothered by the charge because he just posted a photo from inside the jail cell on both his Instagram and Twitter accounts Tuesday afternoon. He left the caption “Live From the Gates of Hell #FreeMe,” while sitting on the floor and pointing his hands as if he was holding a pair of guns at the camera. I’m gonna go a whim and say it’s probably not the smartest thing for him to do, especially after just being caught with a phone a couple weeks ago.

This photo randomly surfaces just days after finding out that one of his alleged accomplices has agreed to testify against him in court, which doesn’t look good for Tay-K.

[U.S E-NEWS] Drake Livestreamed His Concert For Sick Girl In Hospital Unable To Attend

Hate him or love him, you can’t deny the fact that Drake is a pretty damn good guy. Whether it’s giving away a million dollars like he did with “God’s Plan” video or making the dreams come true for young kids, the 6 God understand that his real gift is bigger than music and its giving back to the community and those less fortunate. Hell, just last week, Drizzy cancelled a concert in order to go say hi and make the dreams come true for a sick little girl who needed a heart transplant at a Chicago hospital. The heartwarming story made headlines all over the country and ultimately worked in Sofia’s favor as she was informed on Monday that she’s now indeed getting that new heart.

Well currently now in NYC for his 7-night run, Drake is reportedly about go see another sick girl at Mount Sinai’s hospital on Wednesday. Drizzy’s fan page, WordonRd, first reported the news on their twitter page, before the 6 God went ahead and said hi to the girl, named Kristin, during Monday’s night’s concert. “Kristin I love you. I’ll see you on Wednesday” he said.

It was also reported that Drake set up a live feed of the concert in Kristin’s room at the hospital because they wouldn’t clear her to go to the show. There’s no info yet as for how old Kristin is or why she’s in the hospital, but it’s awesome to see Drake doing this more often.

[U.S E-NEWS] Schoolboy Q Spotted Back In The Studio; Trying To Get Fans “Hyped” For His Album

It’s been a hot minute since we last heard any new music from Schoolboy Q. In fact, with exception to some features, the last time the TDE rapper hit us with his some music of his own was back in 2016 with the release his Blank Face LP, but that looks to be changing here soon. Last month, Top Dawg revealed that Q’s album was about 90-95% done, and now Q is dropping hints that we’re getting close too.

Last week, Schoolboy Q retuned to Instagram with his first post after wiping his page clean, leaving a photo of him working in the lab, and now he’s just done it again. On Monday night, Q shared another photo of him in the lab, this time admitting in the caption that he wanted to hype fans up with some “cool caption” but said fuck it in true Q fashion.

“Was tHinkin of sum corny as caption 2 write 2 get y’all Hyped about tHe album… so fuck It. THis niggaH took da pic braH @xonie_,” he captioned the photo.

That’s right, in what was either a perfectly executed joke or a failed exorcism, one fan felt the need to bring Christian scripture to Uzi’s show at the Xfinity Theater in Hartford, Connecticut and get it into the rapper’s hands by any means possible. Seemingly entertained by the gesture, Uzi smiled, picked up the book and flipped through it as he performed. Today, Kanye West has professed his utter adoration for “Akira.” Despite professing a public love of pornography, Ye is not, in fact, talking about Asa Akira. Rather, he’s paying homage to the anime masterpiece created by Katsuhiro Otomo. Taking to Twitter to express his appreciation, Ye uploaded a picture of the visionary, writing “Katsuhiro Otomo the creator of Akira. This movie is my biggest creative inspiration.” While Ye does indeed seem prone to hyperbole, he backs up his claims with an elaboration.

Jorja Smith will grace the cover of V Magazine’s September issue. The Walsall singer has shared some images from her upcoming cover story, which bears the title Hello World, Meet Jorja Smith. The photos feature Jorja wearing some elegant jewelry, as well as a mask that would make Yeezus-era Kanye West proud. According to photographer Sølve Sundsbø, the rope-like necklace seen on the cover is designed by “Contemporary Roman High Jeweler” BVLGARI. The issue will hit newsstands August 30th.

The Weeknd, known for his never-ending sense of ennui, has found a new reason to shake off the blues. Though a much publicized relationship with Bella Hadid has been tumultuous to say the least, it would appear that the on-again off-again pair have once again found common ground. It’s unclear what may have prompted such an epiphany; it’s sometimes easy to forget that these celebrities have lives outside the snapshots. These were the most streamed songs between June 1st and August 20th.
The “song of the summer” isn’t necessarily something that should be determined by statistics, but thanks to Spotify, we have the numbers that tell us exactly which songs users were listening to over the last three months.

According to a report released by the streaming giant Monday, Drake’s “In My Feelings” has come in at No. 1 on both the Top Global Songs of Summer 2018 and Top U.S. Songs Of Summer 2018 lists. This comes from data collected between June 1st and August 20th, which reveals the Scorpion single was streamed 393 million streams this summer.

Globally, Cardi B appeared on both the No. 2 and No. 3 top streamed songs with her respective guest spot on Maroon 5’s “Girls Like You” and her Invasion Of Privacy single “I Like It.” Meanwhile, Juice WRLD’s “Lucid Dreams” placed at No. 4 globally and No. 2 in the U.S., while the late XXXTentacion’s “SAD!” single was No. 5 on global and No. 3 on U.S.

[U.S E-NEWS] Danny Brown Taps JPEGMAFIA For His “Almost Done” Album

Those in the know value the artistry of Danny Brown. With influences drawing from Radiohead & Mount Eerie to the production of Alchemist, Brown has marched to the beat of his own drum since his informal introduction on XXX. Since then, the uniquely-voiced Detroit rapper has been carving out a lane as one of hip-hop’s prominent mad-scientists. Now, set to follow-up 2016’s slept on Atrocity Exhibition, Danny Brown has taken to Instagram to deliver an update on the enigmatic project.

Providing a picture of one of the album’s contributors, Brown has revealed he’ll be linking up with JPEGMAFIA for at least one endeavour. JPEG was previously spotted on Denzel Curry’s “Vengeance,” which found him holding it down for the track’s middle verse. Hopefully he’ll bring the same energy to Danny’s album, and given the talent involved, it wouldn’t be surprising to hear something more avant-garde than traditionalists might be used to.

Though the teaser is somewhat ambiguous, it does seem likely that we’ll be seeing Danny drop before year’s end. “Danny album almost done!!!!!!!!!” he writes, leaving us all hopeful that his words don’t mirror Nas’ once-unfulfilled promise. Either way, there’s nothing wrong with a new Danny Brown album. Let us all wait patiently.

[U.S E-NEWS] Demi Lovato’s Drug Dealer Finally Speaks: “She Knew What She Was Taking”

Brandon Johnson, the guy who is said to have been with Demi Lovato before her infamous overdose finally commented on the singer’s drug use. Ultimately, he blames the star for her hospitalization.

According to Johnson, their relationship began as a “flirty friendship,” which later became “sexual.” Other sources close to Demi deny the sexual nature of the relationship. Johnson said Demi would have him come over “to kick it.” He also added that this was the type of hangout the singer had in mind when she contacted the pusher around 4 am the day she overdosed.

When he was asked if Demi was aware of the kind of drug she was consuming, Brandon Johnson responded in a slightly defensive manner.

“A hundred percent she knew what she was taking. I had disclosed to her that these are not, you know, pharmaceutical. They’re much stronger. She understood fully… It was unfortunate what happened. For people to think that there was any misconception on my behalf is absolutely ridiculous.”

Although he said that Demi “knew what she was taking,” he revealed that he actually wasn’t completely aware of the drug’s composition himself. The pusher is known to cop his drugs in Mexico, which often includes batches that are laced with fentanyl.

“I’m not sure what is mixed in the pills.

Later, he affirmed to have learned something from the incident.

“It’d definitely a wakeup call for her obviously, but it opened my eyes too.”

Artists can attest that dropping an album is an exhilarating process. Naturally, an album release party can be appropriately raucous, especially those coming from the hip-hop realm. Young Thug, who recently dropped off Slime Language a few Fridays ago, found himself and his crew slapped with a few weapons charges at his album release party; one of his squad was charged with possession of an AK-47, while the remaining four were caught packing less heavy artillery. In any case, TMZ has clarified some of the fallout, proving that Thugger is indeed worthy of the King Slime moniker.

Rap entourages have a self-sustaining ecosystem; the top of the crop makes sure the homies are never missing meals, not unlike the dynamic between shark and remora. The moment of noble leadership came in the form of several cashed cheques. According to TMZ, Thug covered both bail and legal fees of all five charged homies, costing him $50k for the AK-toter and $35k for the remaining four. Not only that, but Thug made sure to have a team of lawyers lined up and ready to hold it down; not only that, but Thug’s chosen lawyers hardly come cheap, going in at $7k a pop.

Clearly, Thug takes care of his own. It’s difficult to say how this one will play out, but we’ll be sure to keep a watchful eye on the process.

Do you remember that time David Blaine shocked Kanye West, Will Smith, Jada Pinket-Smith, Aaron Paul, Bryan Cranston, and Woody Harrelson when he put an ice pick through his hand? How about the time that David Blaine freaked out Drake, Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler, and Dave Chappelle with a frog trick? It appears Blaine really does enjoy making celebrities freak out, because he brought his mind-blowing magic to the Cactus Jack offices.

Travis Scott and a few of his Cactus Jack affiliates were mesmerized by Blaine, who performed a card trick that would seem impossible. The crew stands over a table that has a deck of cards sprawled out. The beginning of the trick is not shown, but it appears Blaine spread the cards out on the table, with the majority of them facing down. Only a few cards sat face up on the table. Blaine instructs one of the onlookers to read out the numbers on a driver’s license. The onlooker participates, and begins to read out the numbers, which happen to exactly match the few cards that are turned over. Travis Scott and his crew immediately begin to exclaim “No, No Way,” as each number is read out to match the overturned cards. “WHAT!?” yells Scott, before deciding to take the cards for himself.

Wiz Khalifa and Rae Sremmurd’s Dazed & Blazed Tour stopped at the Starplex Pavilion in Dallas this weekend, and things didn’t end very well for Swae Lee. The young dread head was enjoying his time on stage, giving the crowd his signature energy, before he was struck in the face. Apparently, a young girl wanted Swae Lee to take a picture with her phone, but she overthrew the device. Her phone hit Lee in the mouth, busting open his lip and causing a bloody mess. The girl must have had her ID in her phone case, because after being hit in the face, Lee took the ID and began to call out the culprit.

Lee is livid as he rants on stage, promising to sue whoever threw the phone. His bandmate, Slim Jxmmi, tries to drag Lee off stage, but the angry young rapper escapes easily. He continued to yell into the audience, and even asked the cameramen to zoom in on his lip to show the injury to the audience.

All 11-year-old Sofia Sanchez wanted for her birthday was to meet the Drake. The adorable young girl has been confined to Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago, as she recovers from one heart surgery while waiting for a new heart altogether. Azealia Banks dragged Elon Musk threw a lot over the last week or so. It all began with her staying at his house while waiting to complete a collaboration with his (ex)girlfriend Grimes. Earlier this month, it was announced that Demi Lovato would be taking time at a rehabilitation center outside of California after being hospitalized after a drug overdose.

However, while the singer is taking time nurture a solid recover, her home was on the list as a target for a group of thieves looking to take advantage of an empty mansion. According to TMZ, a crew of burglars was arrested shortly after it was revealed that Lovato would be checking into rehab.

According to law enforcement sources, officers found electronic communication about the plans. LAPD has reportedly added extra patrols around Lovato’s home while she’s away. Other sources indicate that the thieves weren’t particularly targeting celebrities, but that Demi’s home was just one target on the list.

At the moment, Demi’s location is at an undisclosed facility, but according to TMZ, it is “one of the nation’s leading facilities for addiction.” This most recent incident was the latest in a string since a relapse that took place in June, after six years of sobriety.
