As Quincey faces a turning point in his Life, battling internal conflict, he is forced to make a decision. He details his personal struggles as a person in this self critique of who he was and describes various moments in life where he is brutally honest with himself. At some point everyone has to look in the mirror and decide if they’re happy with who they see.

Watch the visuals for “Mirror” below. The 7 is available on Apple Music, Spotify, and other digital services now.

[U.S VIDEO] Saweetie ft. London On Da Track,G-Eazy & Rich The Kid – Up Now

Saweetie has screen presence, that much can be said without reservation. Her debut video “Icy Girl” skipped the line of succession. She followed that up with an acting role in Quavo’s “Workin Me” video, playing his forbidden love interest to rave reviews. When it came time to pitch further proposals, “Up Now” seemed like a logical choice for music video retouching. It stands to reason that “Up Now” with London On Da Track proved far too rich not to suffer the same fate.

For the occasion G-Eazy gets a do-ever; he now looks the part of a strung-out Scotsman. Saweetie also compels Rich the Kid to drive down the cost of his submission by posing on a giant-sized screen, his earthly presence rebuffed. But eventually he does appear from the dugout alongside the strung out Scotsman and Bay area overseer E-40. Regrettably, my invitation got misplaced by the US Postal Service.

[U.S VIDEO] OMB Peezy – My Dawg

After connecting with Young Gully earlier this week for the song “Show Me Love,” OMB Peezy decides to return to the scene today and share a new video in support of his Loyalty Over Love project for “My Dawg.”

The video finds Peezy rapping from the cemetery and grave stone of his “dawg” in this K Welch Visuals-directed clip (above). It follows up his latest video for “Yeah Yeah” with TK Kravitz.

Check it out and let us know what you think. Loyalty Over Love, which features guest appearances from Mozzy, TK Kravitz & Paper Lovee among others.

[U.S VIDEO] Bum B ft. T.I & Big K.R.I.T – Recognize

Bun B announced his album, Return Of The Trill earlier this year while serving up some seafood patties. While it’s an unorthodox way to introduce a forthcoming project, fans were nonetheless stoked to know that one half of the UnderGround Kingz will be blessings us with a new album. While the initial release date for the project was set for March 16th, that clearly didn’t happen but this Friday, we’ll officially get the project in its entirety. Before it drops, he shares his new music video for “Recognize.”

Earlier this month, Bun B recruited T.I. and Big K.R.I.T for the track “Recognize” and today, he comes through with the official visual for the song. The video was directed by Boomtown Productions and features the three rappers posted up and performing the track in a warehouse filled with blue and green lights.

Peep the video for “Recognize” and make sure you check out Return Of The Trill out August 31st.

[U.S VIDEO] Reese LaFlare – Much Better

Reese LAFLARE is a promising figure in Atlanta’s music scene. Although he’s been grinding for a minute, his self-titled debut album came just two weeks a go. The project is his strongest yet and hailed features from Young Thug, Smokepurpp, Ty Dolla $ign, Pusha T and many more. He’s already released the music video for “Nosebleeds” with Young Thug a few weeks a go. Now, he welcomes everyone to LaFlare County for his new music video for “Much Better.”

Reese LAFLARE is back with some trippy visuals for his single, “Much Better.” The rapper’s latest music video takes inspiration from Harmony Korrine’s “Gummo” and the rapper brings you into a wild and trippy trailer park in LaFlare County.

“The inspiration behind the video was Gummo, the Harmony Korine film,” LaFlare told Paper Magazine. “The video was shot and directed by my friend Millie. She is a photographer from London and me and her have always had a connection over certain creative things. When it came time to shoot the first video for my album, she was my first choice.”

Peep his new video above and check out our recent interview with him below.

[U.S VIDEO] Reason – Better Dayz

TDE’s latest signee Reason is looking to establish his foothold on the game. In the wake of dropping off a new single “The Light,” Reason has continued to expand his portfolio with some new visuals for “Better Dayz.” Immediately evoking memories of the posthumous 2Pac album Better Dayz, Reason does right by Pac’s legacy, kicking things off with an evocative and powerful image of himself bleeding out from a head-wound; worry not, for he has retained the ability to rap.

Juxtaposed against the slow-zooming anchor shot is footage of Reason’s day to day, as he navigates his home-turf with utmost respect. Aside from the subtle conceptual ideas brought forth by the image of a dying man, the clip remains rooted in West Coast traditionalism. In no way is that a detriment. Peep Reason’s latest now, courtesy of Top Dawg Entertainment.

[U.S VIDEO] PnB Rock – ABCD (Friend Zone)

PnB Rock may be a confident man, but that doesn’t stop him from harbouring the occasional insecurity. For one, the artist seems to have a striking intolerance for being placed in “The Friend Zone,” a fate that has befallen plenty of would-be wooers for generations. Evidently, PnB seems ready to dodge the zone entirely, as evidenced by his latest visuals for “ABCD (Friend Zone).” Taking to the porch for the home-field advantage, the bespectacled singer sets his sights on a young lady, and proceeds to move accordingly.

“Miss me with the friend zone,” he sings, leaving some to wonder whether he ever had a chance of appearing there in the first place. In any case, it’s hard to say if PnB is self deprecating enough to paint a narrative in which he goes home empty handed. Look to PnB Rock for inspiration the next time you feel like courtship is imminent.

[U.S VIDEO] Mobb Deep – Boom Goes The Cannon

Lin-Manuel Miranda found a brilliant way to honor Prodigy, by commissioning a posthumous Mobb Deep record at the behest of the lone-remaining member, Havoc. The song “Boom Goes The Cannon” was released as part of Miranda’s #Hamildrops series, on the one-year anniversary of Prodigy’s death in June. Miranda says he was divinely inspired by Prodigy’s famous words “I’m only 19 but my mind is old” when he was “dressing up” his Alexander Hamilton character for the Broadway musical.

A few days ago, the “Boom Goes The Cannon” music video has surfaced to complete the tribute. The video undertaken by Derec Dunn & Charles O. Sanchis, of Distressed Asset Resolution in NYC, pays homage to Prodigy through a series of reenactments generally narrated by Havoc himself. Havoc waves a white Mobb Deep t-shirt with God as his witness, the group ethos restored. “Boom Goes The Cannon” is the closest Prodigy ever got to Civil War reenactment, after staging his metaphoric rise in a part of New York “similar to Vietnam.”

[U.S VIDEO] Chief Keef – Rawlings / TV

Last month, Chief Keef released an 11-track project called Mansion Musick, which featured guest appearances from Tadoe and Playboi Carti, the latter of which who appeared on the song “Uh Uh.” Today, Sosa decides to revisit that very project and share a new double video for the songs “Rawlings” and “TV On (Big Boss).”

Directed by J.R. Saint Films, the video finds Sosa posted up in a warehouse surrounded by some hard ladies totin’ guns and shaking their asses. It follows up his latest video for “Roxanne” with CMDWN.

[U.S VIDEO] Translee – Freedom Summer

Translee is back with new material for the summer. His latest clip shot by Karl “KB” Benion complements his album’s title track “Freedom Summer.” The quality of storytelling produced in this music video latches onto the strength found in Translee’s words. It breathes complex meaning into his lyrics, which already bore massive weight.

This is the case in the scene where the rapper is being held to the ground by a police officer. As he struggles with his hands behind his back he raps “Will I live forever/Will I die standing up.”

“Freedom Summer” refers to the Mississippi Summer Project, a volunteer program launched in 1964 that was meant to enable the voting registration of African-Americans. The 10-week civil rights project was riddled with violence, arrests, and other injustices.

The Freedom Summer LP dropped today as well. It is Translee’s first full-length album since 2016’s M.A.O.T.P. pt. 1. The latest features artists such as Tip, B.o.B., Omar Hardwick.

[U.S VIDEO] Redman – 1990 Now

The legendary Redman played an essential role in solidifying the 1990s as one of hip-hop’s definitive decades. In fact, many still reflect on the 90s as “the glory days,” citing classics like Red’s own Muddy Waters, Dare Iz A Darkside, and Whut Thee Album? In any case, Reggie Noble has withstood the test of time, and while his sound may not be in line with what’s currently sought by the youth, he has remained true to himself. Plus, the man can still outrap a large percent of the game, so there’s always that.

In his latest video for “1990 Now,” Red takes to a minimalist set, bringing forth a welcome wave of nostalgia for anyone old enough to remember one of rap’s iconic eras. “When I was putting up Muddy Waters stickers, you was a young cat trying to meet Big Bird,” raps Redman. Keep an eye out for that Muddy Waters 2, coming soon.

[U.S VIDEO] Sheck Wes – Chippi Chippi

Cactus Jack’s own Sheck Wes has a bright future ahead of him. Already teased by Yes Julz as “your next favorite rapper,” the Travis Scott endorsed emcee has been seeking to find his coveted “Mo Bamba” followup. While “Chippi Chippi” lacks the immediacy of its infectious predecessor, Wes’ latest single further solidifies the young artist’s position as an enjoyable up-and-comer. Today, he adds some visual to the mix, channeling Tom Hanks circa “Cast Away,” complete with a Wilson analogue. The ball is, of course, named “Chippi.”

The clip is also somewhat spooky, albeit remaining fixed on the silly side. Amidst flickering flame and Buffalo Bill esque night vision, Sheck slinks and shimmies his way about, leaving us to wonder what exactly might be running through that head of his. Peep the clip now, and sound off. Is Wes here to stay?

[U.S VIDEO] E-40 ft. G Perico & Vince Staples – Ain’t Talkin’ Bout’ Nothing

While Seinfeld is largely considered the “show about nothing,” E-40 has come through with a song covering similar ground. Stemming from his recent drop The Gift Of Gab, which alludes to his undeniably infectious vernacular, “Ain’t Talking Bout Nothin” finds Vince Staples and G Perico assisting the Bay Area legend for good measure. Employing the classic hip-hop video approach, the three rappers post up in unison, exuding menace whenever the occasional merits. Given 40 Water’s propensity for shoving rifles into people’s mouths, that’s often.

With fluid, fast edits and an appealing colour palette, 40’s clip is an enjoyable if unchallenging watch. Those in the know can attest to the bounce, and will no doubt let out a boisterous “OUUUUU” in E-40’s honour. Plus, it’s nice to see Vince Staples in action once again, given his relative silence since last year’s Big Fish Theory. Peep the visuals now.

[U.S VIDEO] KAMI, Smoke Ono ft. Chance The Rapper & Joey Purp – Reboot

It’s unsure where we’ll be getting a new Chance The Rapper album but he’s been collaborating with some dope Chicago artists recently and dropping off some stellar verses. KAMI and Smoko One recently released their single, “Reboot” which features Chance The Rapper and Joey Purp. The song made waves over the weekend. Now, they give the song an extra boost with a brand new music video directed by the one and only, Cole Bennett.

KAMI and Smoko Ono return with some new visuals for their latest single, “Reboot.” The song is already a major banger but the visuals bring it to a whole new level. KAMI and Smoko Ono link up with Cole Bennett for their energetic music video. While Bennett’s signature visual effects are on full display in the video. KAMI, Smoko Ono, Chance The Rapper and Joey Purp bring out several Chicago artists including Towkio and Reeseynem.

The song serves as a single off of KAMI and Smoko Ono’s forthcoming project Very Slight which is expected to drop in September. Keep your eyes peeled for that as well as Joey Purp’s forthcoming project, Quarterthing.

[U.S VIDEO] Hoodrich Pablo Juan ft. Blocboy JB – Tik Tok

Last month, Hoodrich Pablo Juan released a slept on 12-track project called Hoodwolf 2, which featured guest appearances from Rich The Kid, Lil Skies, Gunna, & more. Today, the ATL rapper decides to revisit that very project and share a new video in its support for the song “Tik Tok” featuring Blocboy JB.

From mobbin’ with the homies to posting up in his droptop whip and flossing cash, the two rappers show off some dance moves and stunt hard for the cameras in this dark & fiery, GT Films-directed clip (above). Check it out and let us know what you think.

[U.S VIDEO] Blood Orange – Saint

Last week, Devonté Hynes, better known as Blood Orange, released a new album called Negro Swan, which caught the attention of Drake, who gave it a nice co-sign on his IG story over the weekend. Today, the rising British singer/songwriter decides to revisit the project and share a new video in its support for the song “Saint.”

The self-directed video finds Hynes playing the synthesizer, drum machine and cello in what looks to be an in-home studio or apartment. Meanwhile, his companions, including India Moore (FX’s Pose), designer Ana Kraš and Kai the Black Angel, chill in a living room and smoke, eat pizza and hang out. Check it out (above) and let us know what you think.

[U.S VIDEO] Comethazine – If I Got To

Comethazine drops off some colourful new visuals for “If I Got To.”

Comethazine is a man of many talents. Fresh off the drop of his new Baw$kee mixtape, the young, platinum blonde-haired rapper has stepped behind the camera for a new set of colourful visuals. Bringing forth a colour palette evocative of seventies cult classic Suspiria, Comethazine explores an ominous, labyrinthian hallway. The voyage only gets stranger upon the arrival of a rabbit-masked waitress, serving a plate of chicken sans legumes.

Eventually, the rapper finds himself seated at the head of the table, whereupon he proceeds to dine with the rabbit-people. In truth, it’s unclear whether or not anything further would constitute as foul play. If one has the head of a rabbit and the body of a woman, is it human or beast? In any case, one can only advise precaution. Any offspring stemming from such a wild night would no doubt prove to be half-rabbit.

Peep the creepy visuals now, and sound off. Ya’ll feeling this man’s musical endeavours?
